Who are we? من نحنُ؟
We are a group of students building a welcoming environment for everyone interested in Arab culture and language. نحن مجموعة من الطلاب نسعى لتشكيل مساحة ترحييبية لكل من يهتم بالثقافة واللغة العربية.
Through our activities, we aim to celebrate, discover and discuss the people, cultures and traditions of the Arab world and its rich heritage. من خلال أنشطتنا، نهدف إلى الاحتفاء بشعوب العالم العربي وثقافاته وتقاليده، والتعرّف عليها عن قرب ومناقشتها و استكشاف تراثه الغني والمتنوع.

Why Zaater? لماذا اخترنا زعتر؟
From some of the most beloved breakfast dishes of the Levant to the amazing diversity found across the Arab world, Zaater is a small taste of a much bigger story. الزعتر جزء لا يتجزء من الفطور في بلاد الشام و نكهة تحمل معها ذكريات وحكايات كثيرة. وبالنسبة لنا، هو رمز بسيط لعالم عربي أكبر، غني بتنوعه وثقافاته.
We chose Zaater because we want to bring together the many flavours, cultures, dialects and perspectives that make the Arab world so diverse. اخترنا اسم زعتر لأنه يعكس ما نطمح إليه: مساحة تجمع مختلف الثقافات واللهجات و وجهات النظر التي تشكّل عالمنا العربي بكل تنوّعه.
